Created the first great empire & conquered nearly half of the Mainland. Created the universal language - Lehrean.
Cataclysmic fall of the empire. Banished & chased out of their former kingdom. Founded Umina and entered the Eternal War.
Gained respect among the species as peacekeepers and allies of the Heart Empire.
After the fall of the 3rd empire, many returned to Umina while others set up ‘Hei-Towns,’ Human neighborhoods attached to existing cities.
With antlers given to them by the Great Stag, the humans are the very image of adaptability. There are no limits to what a Human might become if they truly wish it. They brought about the first great empire the world has seen, which reigned for five-thousand years. In power, they were brutal conquerors. Humans know their kind & take kindly to familiar faces. In Hei-Towns (a section of a city populated almost entirely by Humans) secrets & rumors travel fast. Access to a place like Hei-Towns can be a great advantage... Their life expectancy is 65-100 years.
The name Human comes from the name of the largest tribe of the Nomadic Era before great empires, Umin. They lived in what is now called Luka. Today, in the 4th era, Umina is their homeland; A country of swamps, green meadows, and enormous flat plains. The animals of Umina have come to populate nearly every corner of the Mainland to some degree.
Humans have a first & last name. The first refers to the individual (for example: Edmond, Leo, Quinton) while the last often comes from their family’s history/profession (for example: herald, smith, cooper). These are the conventions in Umina, however, most humans DO NOT live in Umina. Their names will likely be influenced by the culture around them, though some human communities dislike this practice.
Humans have migrated & changed for countless centuries. They are the most adaptable species on the Mainland. Where other species receive +1 Wiggle-Stat to a pre-designated Stat, Humans may choose where they’d like their bonus point.
